Love and Respect for Feb 10 Podcast

I mean...I don't think the ps5 has justification for that either. I know it's only $10 but money is tight, more and more I find myself just not buying games entirely, sticking with my (admittedly enormous) backlog instead. With sony though I can wait for sales, the fact that nintendo games stay full price FOREVER makes it so frustrating.

L&R With LoZ:TotK getting another Trailer and the hidden shadowdrop of a $70 price tag, I have to say that the "6 Years of development" really is not showing. Do you think that Nintendo has justification for charging PS5 game prices on a game that is releasing on hardware that was outdated when it launched and is still looking very much like "more BotW" (the industries most successful tech demo)?

Greetings Allies. Have any of you ever been conned by a video game myth or rumor? Here is a personal example. When I was a kid, my older brother, friends, and I would all play GoldenEye on the N64 together. One time my older brother convinced me that he had seen a strange NPC running around in one of the co-op levels, either the bunker or the complex. It looked like none of the available playable characters and came to be known by us as simply "The Green Man". With nothing to go off of except my brother's alleged eye witness account, we all became obsessed with proving that this "Green Man" was real. My friends and I searched every inch of every single co-op level and tried everything we could think of. We used every possible player combination, limited the co-op number to only 2 or 3, and tried toggling different cheats together in the hopes that some secret combination would cause him to spawn. But after literally YEARS of searching, we never found The Green Man. It wasn't until I was a grown adult that I learned my brother had in fact made the whole thing up. But despite being duped by him for all these years, I wasn't even mad at him. In fact, I was happy. All those years spent theory crafting, experimenting and exploring the levels with my friends added a whole other dimension to the game, and to this day I cannot think of GoldenEye without also thinking of The Green Man and getting a big, stupid smile on my face. It felt like the video game equivalent of searching for Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster, and for me that made this already perfect game that much more special. So to reiterate my question, what are some specific video game myths or rumors you've encountered, and how have they affected your overall experience of the game? Love and Respect.
