Hey Allies, Tears of the Kingdom is out and for most this is a highlight of the year. But not so much for me. To keep it brief BotW was not for me and having now finished TotK with all my free time, TotK is also not for me. But that isn't really the problem I'm having. The problem I have is there's so much positivity around the game I can't help but want to figure out why. Every day on the internet there's another person gushing and the instinct to ruin the vibe by querying why? how? does this bit not hinder the enjoyment? Surely this bit you can't ignore? I'm sure the Allies, even with their public opinions, have some takes they have to hide to keep the positive energy right? How do you surpress these and if you're feeling spicy feel free to share some Love and Respect

2023-05-25 09:27:06 +0000 UTCHello, Allies! With the PlayStation showcase behind us, and the reveals already known, did Sony open the door for Xbox to gain some lost ground at their own showcase? It feels like even though Sony had a year and a half to prepare for the showcase, most of the titles were live service, or already known about in advance, with some notable exceptions. In addition, not many PS5 heavy hitters are arriving during the holiday season, except for Spider-Man. If Xbox announces multiple heavy hitter exclusives for this holiday season, could that swing enough people to even the playing field, or at least, to right the ship? What would it take for you to declare Xbox the winner of the year? Love and respect from Denver! PS, can we please stop showing animals being killed during showcases? The emotional roller coaster was as crazy as guardians of the galaxy 3, especially with Cat Quest right after it!

2023-05-25 06:05:44 +0000 UTCLove and Respect: Hey Allies, Was it just me or was that Playstation showcase disappointing for you guys as it was me? While there a lot of games shown off, several of them looking at least interesting, I was expecting a lot more heavy hitters. Where was the last of us multiplayer? The rumored twisted metal game? Horizon multiplayer game? Sucker punch? Cory Barlogs game? Wolverine? Etc. I didn't expect all of those things to be shown off but I expected a few of those from an actual Sony first party triple A studio or at least an announcement of some of them. Spider man looked great, it was nice getting gameplay from dragon's dogma 2 and getting MGS3 remake confirmed, but still this was supposed to be a Sony showcase, not a 3rd party show lightly supported by playstation. Do you think we'll get more info on some of this games later? If so when would you might expect them? Summer game fest? TGS? Game awards? I'm just really baffled by this blunder. 2023-05-24 21:53:33 +0000 UTCHi Allies, using only items that you own from your home. How many enemies from Tears of the Kingdom do you think you could defeat if they existed in real life and were trying to attack you? You are able to Fuse them or attach them to things using Ultra hand.

Do you think people are rushing out bad Battle Royale games in the hopes of them getting shut down after 6 months, just so they can get a sweet payout from all the whales that bought their skins and lootboxes? Just think of how many half assed games we got, a Vampire Masquerade BR, some wrestling, dodgeball, destruction Derby clones with colourful skins... I mean characters. Mortal Kombat brings in all kinds of licensed crossovers, from Terminator, to Freddy Kreuger, to Kratos or Spawn. Is there a character you'd think would be fun to have brought into Street Fighter 6 from outside the franchise? L&R, Kiraz

2023-05-24 00:01:26 +0000 UTCLove and Respect Allies, I've spent the past almost two weeks playing Tears of the Kingdom in between work days and I'm getting close to the end, at least I think. But progress has slowed down substantially, due to participating in a game jam and joining a book club. Tears of the Kingdom was already cutting into a Terraria and Celeste playthrough and there are dozens of games in my backlog behind them that I'll probably never get to. Do any of you have the power to finish a game before hopping to a new one, or are you cursed to drop a game when a new shiny one comes out like me?

2023-05-23 17:47:25 +0000 UTCHello allies. I’m glad that so many of you got to play Final Fantasy XVI, but I can’t help but wonder if Square Enix is wasting money on the marketing. I doubt that any serious media would be less favorable to the game if the publisher invited just one person to local office instead of offering a paid trip across the globe for entire crew to show them a set piece constructed just for the preview event. So why publishers keep spending big money on something that matter so little in the end?
