I was about to comment something similar when I saw this. But Season 1 of Clone Wars still has some real ringers: Lair of Grievous is one of my favorite Star Wars stories ever! Could Obi-Wan and Boba Fett have been better? Yes! Do they both have some incredible moments/episodes? Also yes! Is Andor great? Yes. Did it need to be 12 episodes? Nope! Anyway, my hopes are high for Ashoka.

2023-06-08 20:56:07 +0000 UTCthe discussion on star wars hurt my very soul Isla says feloni won't let anything change...but she hasn't seen clone wars, all the big stuff is in that, and it's spin off shows (ahsoka is basically rebels season 5 for that matter) all the cool stuff from mando season 1 and 2? from clone wars. The live action stuff feeling like filler has a lot more to do with the cost of live action, and limited run time, kinda like dc movies (mostly awful) vs. dc animated stuff (broadly excellent) I grant that season 1 of clone wars sucks and the show's art style is god awful...and you guys don't have the time to invest in 7 seasons of it, it took me the better part of decade to finally clear it out of my backlog, but...trust me, people adore ahsoka and the various named clones from clone wars for a reason. Everything interesting that's ever happened in star wars post og trilogy happened in Feloni's 3 main animated shows. The retroactive love people have for the prequels always baffled me, after watching clone wars I get it...the prequels still suck, but he filled in the cracks in ways that make those movies work...kind of.
