Keep it up! All hail the new king of raspy voice acting, Ralph Ineson! Not only is he the voice of Cidolfus in Final Fantasy 16, but also the voice of Lorath from Diablo 4! What a one-two punch! I guess Ralph Ineson is my new best friend! Love and respect from Denver

2023-06-21 09:28:10 +0000 UTCHi Allies SORT IT OUT, this is something that has been bothering me for a while. Gamers just play and enjoy the games you like and don't attack others if they play the same game on a different system. It doesn't matter if you play on PS5, Xbox/Gamepass, Switch or PC just have fun and enjoy the games that you want to play. I want to say more on this topic but I am in rant mode at the moment and am having trouble putting my thoughts into words. Keep up the great work and Love and Respect Ghost Samurai

2023-06-20 02:28:31 +0000 UTCGreetings Allies, I’ve been thinking lately about pricing expectations for games in terms of genre and whether there are set limitations for what people will pay for a certain type of experience. For instance people will easily shell out $60-$70 for a shooter or an action adventure game or a big RPG but do you think people would willingly pay in that range for a 2D Metroidvania or a visual novel regardless of the quality of the game? I’m just wondering if you think there are some game genres which are limited in terms of their perceived value in the market and how much devs can reasonably request to ask for games in those genres without hurting their sales potential? Personally, I’d pay $60 for Hollow Knight Silksong knowing the pedigree of the first game and how much I enjoy that genre but my guess is most other gamers would not and there is probably a glass ceiling which some games need to stay underneath to maintain market acceptability even if the game is fantastic. Would you agree? Thanks for taking my question if you do and stay easy. Best Regards, ~ Wes

2023-06-19 20:46:34 +0000 UTCHey Allies, With the news that almost the entirety of Persona 5 Royal development team moved on to work on Persona 3 Reload for the past 4 years, I can't help but feel disappointed that seemingly Persona 6 is still so far away. I'm glad that people can play an updated version of Persona 3 on modern platforms, but I personally didn't want that to come at the expense of us possibly getting Persona 6 in a more timely fashion. It's already been over 6 years since P5 came out and we've been waiting to see what's next for Persona as a series since. Spin-offs, remasters and remakes of older games are cool for the most hardcore fans of the series, but I'm honestly more than ready to move on to Persona 6. Anyone else feeling that way? Cheers. P.S: Since Metaphor might be brought up in the discussion, I wanna make it clear that I'm mainly talking about P-Studio and their output. P-Studio is the development arm of Atlus that focuses on Persona franchise (mainline, spin-offs, ports, etc), while Atlus' latest studio, Studio Zero (established by former lead Persona devs) is making the new Metaphor: ReFantazio game.

2023-06-19 16:32:08 +0000 UTCKeep it up! I never thought I’d be saying this, but keep it up Ubisoft! Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is the first game I’m interested in from them since Rayman Legends. And maybe not so coincidentally, it’s from the same team. The game actually reminds me A LOT of one of my favorite games in recent years, Metroid Dread. Not only is it said to be a Metroidvania, but there seems a huge focus on the fluidity of movement, with Sargon moving a lot like Samus as he slides, air dashes, and wall jumps over, around, and through obstacles. Even the parry mechanic and camera/cinematic direction are very Dread-esque. It’s so rare for any big publisher outside of Nintendo to make a big(ish) budget 2D action game anymore. It’s something I’d love to see more of, as some of the best games of all time are 2D. If this game is successful, maybe it’d even inspire Capcom to finally make a Mega Man Metroidvania. Keep it up!

2023-06-19 16:02:40 +0000 UTCHEYA ALLIES - I feel like I have so many "Sort It Out!" thoughts swimming in my head. And you want me to be BRIEF?? Sort It Out, Capcom! Mega Man is a vast playground to experiment with! Reboot the franchise and include the original games as unlockables! And that story? IT'S A MESS! Get it together and just give us Zero murdering the classic cast already. Sort It Out, Nintendo! A sci-fi adventure with Metroid, Star Fox and F-Zero is just WAITING to be made! GTA mixed with Carmen Sandiego?? Gameplay elements from every franchise?? Giving Captain Falcon a canonical Falcon Punch??? Sort It Out, Namco! Splatterhouse is OBJECTIVELY THE BEST IP YOU HAVE- alright I think that's enough. Love & Respect, everyone.

2023-06-19 12:18:06 +0000 UTCSort it Out! First of all I’m very happy to have become a supporter of the Easy Allies this month. Honestly, it’s even more rewarding than I expected as I now truly feel part of it all. Anyway, this is my Sort it Out; There’s obviously a shift toward digital media the past few years and I get it for pure convenience but I really feel if we’re going to go digital there really ought to be more of a saving for us. When you consider the distribution costs e.g the disc and box, shipping, margin for the physical retailer etc, should we not expect a better discount on digital media? This doesn’t even factor in my main point that by going digital we’re denying ourselves the option to sell or trade in our physical copy to reduce our overall cost. Now, if there was an option to trade my digital copy/licence of a game I was done with against another digital title (for even 15% of the original price I paid) I’d be much more on board with the shift to digital. What do the Allies think of a digital trade in option and is our laziness being taken advantage ofl!? Love and Respect Undead Hero
