Something To Believe In first ever demo
Added 2025-02-24 15:00:14 +0000 UTCSo you guys will have seen by now that my first single of 2025, Something To Believe In, is coming in March. This song actually was first conceived back in April 2024 (at least, that's how old the oldest file is), and this is the first ever demo I exported from its early days. I hadn't even written the second half of the first verse yet I don't think, and you'll hear that the song got really filled out and thickened up with synths later down the line.
Back then it was just saved on my PC as 'CALI EP', since at the time I thought I would include it in a more upbeat, summery EP project alongside a more moody, dark one I had been planning. Of course, in the end I scrapped both projects and embarked on an album instead, but it wasn't until very very late in the production process that I landed on the name 'Something To Believe In'.
This demo file is from May 15th 2024, just 12 days after the release of my last song, A Secret.
