Really depends on where your strength lies as an artist. My sketches are really messy and vague, so it takes me years to figure out how to make it look good and fix the mistakes. Whereas, when coloring it's usually always the same principle and I just go with the flow. Generally I feel more comfortable coloring stuff, which is why I am ultimately faster at it than doing the lineart. The simplistic coloring style also helps tremendously.
