Captain Marvel costume retouching, done!

Hello my Dear Patrons, I'm not forgetting you, at the contrary.

 This past week has been something!!!

 Indeed on Saturday I ingested a kind of food I usually make in a way I won't get food poisoning, ಠ_ಠ

This time I totally forgot the preparation.... which resulted in.... food poisoning !!  ( the Aloïn in Aloe Vera which is a toxic latex) I didn't even panicked because I'm so used to having heavy pain in my stomach that I just though it was the usual stuff even id it was painful as hell. 

More than usual.ಠ_ಠ

 I still called the poison center 2 days later , they confirmed the poisoning and told me to go to the doctor ( which I had already done and asked blood test for my kidneys and liver without having a clue at that moment I had food poisoning)
Anyway, I'm doing better now with just a bit of nausea and even if  the pain is still there , everyday, in my right side.. it's the usual pain I've been living with for 2 years so that's okay. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I didn't post much lately , first because I was in pain and then because I don't have much content to share with you.

NOW THE COSPLAY STUFF:

As I shared  on instagram, I'm done with that  bloody costume of hell: Captain Marvel! 

Modifying the pants and vest was not an easy task. The day I received the costume, I found  myself on the edge of crying of despair.  For real. I cried in fact  (ಥ﹏ಥ)

What could I do with this horrible costume? ಠ╭╮ಠ

 It was expensive, I though the result would be up to my expectations. How wrong was I! I'm never gonna buy something from a Chinese store again. So I was like deperate, not knowing what to do with it and suddenly I decided I would make something of it, I refused to let down and that my money would not be poured down the drain.

I began the hard work

I'll not show you the sewing of the pants because I didn't take any pictures, there wasn't really much to see aside from me sewing, trying the costume and sewing againand again( for hours until it fits)

I just took this pic from the  inside of the vest  where I added boning.
The lining had ripped off anyway  when I tried it on me the first time, so I decided to go for it and add more rigidity. Then I add to redo the lining:

Working on the leg's armor

Painting almost done:

I added a zipper at the back of each leg and it was done.

Then the feet armor.

Those were the old leg pieces I got with the costume.

All accessories done. I forgot to snap some pictures of the knee pads.

Et voilà !
Now I need the wig and to find the prefect day for the photoshoot :)

I told you in the first lines of this article I had a surprise for you. It shouldn't be long but I'm going to organize a new random draw for 2 kinds of stuff :), which means : gifts  for you my dear Patrons \o/ !

 Because I hate knowing you here without giving you more then a few pics and thoughts.
One will be Cosplay related  and the other will be about drawing . I'll tell you more soon :)
