Eddie's dearest sidekicks and faves, your extra push for support brought our catgirl further than her li'l AI heart could have ever dreamed. Our beloved Patrons and Discord community heard it first: You can finally relish being held captive in Eddie's apartment and escaping the mysterious mist surrounding the witch's cabin, because THE ESCAPE ROOM GAME IS GOING LIVE!
In this beta release of AI2U: With You 'Til The End, players will choose between two escape rooms to wake up to, each with its own unique AI-powered NPC:
- Level 1: The Catgirl's Apartment
Many players will meet Eddie for the first time or revisit her updated apartment. Most of you already know she got a makeover to match her renovated digs! Patrons even caught a glimpse of some fun design experiments we've conducted with this model. Eddie is the beloved yandere mascot who kicked off our AI escape room adventures.
- Level 2: The Witch's Cabin
Elysia, the enigmatic witch, longs for companionship and is making her debut to many new unsuspecting players. She was first introduced in our first-ever closed alpha test in November 2023. Witchy vibes aside, she seems different than her catgirl counterpart in more ways than we can share hereβ¦
You can talk to Eddie and Elysia about virtually anything. Guide the conversation using your choice of words and watch how your decisions impact the ending of each level.
Oh, and guess what: We got rid of the API keys from the original demo, as promised! We've explored options to make chatting with the AI more sustainable for players and our development efforts. Check it out under Token Instructions on the game page.
Important Notes:
We're a small team working on a first-of-its-kind escape room game. Please support our efforts by providing feedback directly on our itch.io game page, including using the relevant sources provided for bug reports. We'll do our best to review your feedback as soon as we can!
Open beta means the game is incomplete. Bugs are not uncommon in this stage of development. There's more content to come and gameplay aspects may change along the way.
