Because I was a HUGE D&D nerd for years and years, I have a bunch of character & NPC sketches! Above: I think she was a half-elf ranger.

Don't remember; perhaps a priestess or wizard? I incorporated a lot of my then-Empires costume elements into her.

This one I remember, she was an NPC Priestess of the god Coyote, based off of an amalgam of Native American stuff. Because it was the D&D fantasy world version I felt it was okay to throw together a variety of elements.

Another Ranger/Priestess or Wizard? I don't remember.

I think I posted her before, or maybe just the black-and-white version? She was a bandit class.

One of my characters, an older Knight that had served the King basically by standing guard on a wall all his life but realized he wanted to do something adventurous before he got too old.

"Lonely Lockup" was a sketch I did for Kenzer & Company as they were kicking of their "Kingdoms of Kalamar" campaign setting. I answered some of their calls for input and at one point even wrote a full campaign setting proposal for them called "Sands of the Khydoban". It was rejected as being "too closely based on Earth history" but I will repost it for people to see someday as a "fan project".
The pen name used while I was in Israel as "Ariel Shaham" and the fat that I had just finished a year and a half of Middle East historical and archaeological study *might* have had some influence on my writing at the time, so that would explain the tone of the project being "too closely based on Earth history".
Until later!
