I've mentioned "Drink & Draw" in the past; here are a few more samples from those fun times. Basically, a bunch of local area artists get together once a month and we do silly art projects on the spot. This time, I share projects that were little more than "something with a dinosaur theme", as well as "inappropriate children's toys".

Also, below, is the one and only time I designed a tattoo for someone. I was in Iraq and we were getting ready to rotate home, and one of the guys I was on good terms with asked me to design a tattoo for his girlfriend. Of course by this time everyone knew I was the guy doing BOHICA Blues (see the "BOHICA Blues Downrange!" loads here for an idea of what I was doing at the time) so my props as an "art guy" were well established.
When you do art, you are frequently asked to do tattoos for people. I have always balked, feeling very self-conscious about the idea that something I designed will be etched on someone's body most likely for good. I don't know why that makes me hesitate, especially when there's good money to be had in designing tattoos professionally. But in this case, she wanted an angel (another thing I don't work with very much). I did it, and ot be honest I'm not too satisfied with it. I never did find out if this woman went through with the idea, or if she went with another design.

That's all for now! More to come very soon!
