And that was it. Yes, the aliens featured were the ones featured in the earlier, long-ago Empires short story I did for the first "Iriesii Manifest". Kel wanted the stories to tie together in a way, as he was a big fan of continuity.
I've lost contact with Kel over the years and I believe he didn't write any more stories of any sort. When I asked him, he said "I'm not a writer. I don't feel compelled to write; it's not something I feel like I need to do". He just wasn't that into writing even though I felt like he did pretty well and I enjoyed the story.
I ran this all at once because, as you saw, it was a fairly long story and waiting a week between updates would make things confusing. Plus, I needed something to cover for me two-week summer training exercise, during which I am away and can't post more regular updates.
Anyhow, that was it for Iriesii Manifest, the 'zine that never lasted beyond 2 issues and was supposed to be a technical support book for the Empires 'verse. What will be seen in the future? Well, just stick around and find out.
