Once again, I loaded pictures (pencil sketches) with the crappy scanner at work.
It wasn't until two days ago (after already loading the last batch of comic roughs) it occurred to me to look up the make & model of the scanner on the internet and find out how to change the settings. Oh, well. I scanned in a bunch of new doodles at a higher resolution so we'll see if it works out.
So this is a one-panel comic, and when I do a one-panel I like to take one of my 3-panel templates and combine the top two panels. It also leaves me room for some commentary at the bottom of the page when I eventually put this in book form.

Ahhh, there we go-- all nice and clean!
Getting to the details and such. Our rooms here at Camp Bondsteel are pretty basic-- grey walls with no decoration. It is up to us to decorate at our own expense if we wish to, and there's a desire to liven things up but there's also the constraint about not spending a lot of money on things that will just get left behind. True, people do buy things like appliances (TVs, refrigerators) and then "sell" them to the next person rotating in for a fee, but that is easier to do with appliances that obviously make life better. Art or decoration are more to individual taste and someone may not want to fork over anything for stuff you find artful but they think is hideous.
And there we are! I still have to finish the Coke can (we're not allowed beer or other alcohol in the rooms) but this is almost ready to go.
Until later!
