Holidays at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo! Or, in this case, the city of Prishtina. For being a country that is 90% Muslim, they go all-out for... Christmas. Obviously this is the secular version of Christmas, with Santa, Trees, and lots and lots of lights.

Christianity exists here of course, although it is mostly Serbian Orthodox Christianity, which celebrates Christmas on January 7th. So this is purely for fun.

This is support for Ukraine here, too; the more so since Kosovo sees itself on the defense against Serbia, and Serbia is very much a Russian partner state. So there's some politics mixed in with the celebrations.

And they dig reindeer, with some... pretty epic antlers.
The entry area to the (really huge) Prishtina Mall-- again, a massive Christmas tree, with Santa and all the trimmings.
--And of course more reindeer gate guardians.
The day before Christmas we had some snow, and we thought this was all we were going to get. We went to sleep that night with more slush than snow.
By the next morning, however, the clouds had been hard at work.
We had an... interesting Santa display in the chow hall.

My favorite was... COCAINE DEER!

I let Rudolph model my hat.
Me and my shop team, about to have some dry but tasty turkey.
Have a great holiday season!
