Added 2025-01-01 18:15:32 +0000 UTCJuni talks on the phone to Joe; I used found images as the basis because I started this one earlier, before I gained access to the scanner at work. So it has a slightly artificial feel to it compared to my normal style but for awhile I thought this was going to be my only option.
Seeing people talking outside on the veranda of the Seahuts is pretty common.
More details added, some shading and highlights...
...and the final product ready for dialogue.
There are still a few comics being worked on from early online picture harvesting, but I am going to continue switching back to the purely paper sketched originals. I used to use this technique a lot and even did a couple whole chapters in later 2019 using found images and posefile dolls in Clip Studio Paint, but I just don't care for the overall results and it actually doesn't save much time... it's just when I can't gain access to a scanner.
