George at the District Office Doodles
Added 2023-09-25 15:59:01 +0000 UTCThere is a guy at my day job's District Office-- while technically in my chain of command he is so far removed that I don't have to deal with him on a day when things are running properly. Unfortunately, he's one of those guys that likes to "charge in and fix things" by micromanaging things he doesn't understand and chewing people out every so often. His name is "George".
George is 100% keyboard warrior. I've met him in person and while he is an unusually big dude (really tall, broad shouldered, etc) he is pretty much a normal guy in person. Doesn't act out or anything. But behind the keyboard, whooo, boy, he thinks he's General Patton.
There's "retention" as in "retaining good talent in the workplace" and then there's being an uptight anal-retentive. George is the second kind.
At least I don't have to deal with my previous supervisor any more.
