So I recently finished my SLC (Senior Leader's Course) class and of course, as the class artist, I got picked to design the mascot. Interestingly, I am not usually a big "mascot" guy because these things are usually over the top and a little ridiculous. But this time the class chose a very unusual mascot, a chameleon.
I like chameleons, because, well, they're cool and they sorta-kinda change colors and they can blend in all sorts of places. I was glad it was this humble creature instead of the usual round of dire wolves or muscly barbarians or dragons or whatnot.
So we got a chameleon changing between Army camouflage and civilian jeans, chowing down on pizza and beer, which is pretty normal for a bunch of Army NCO's at a month-long resident course. I know it is not a very accurate chameleon, but serious, how do we even know what they really look like anyway? I mean, they're chameleons, right!?
Anyhow, just thought I'd drop that in here to share. We will resume our regularly scheduled nonsense momentarily.
