An episode for the 1st of March!

First there's the usual pencil, scanned in, and the initial layer for inking. It's also an opportune time for me to add a little more detail sometimes, or clarify things.

When I hide the base layer of pencils and reveal the "inked" line art, I have a really clear mental picture of where things are going. This is also a good time for final touch-ups and line details.

The initial colors are a big step but they always look kind of flat & sloppy. Still, it is progress.

Then the details, shading, etc get dropped in and it always feels so good.
Stay tuned for the finished product!
