WIP Wednesday!
Added 2025-03-26 17:00:09 +0000 UTCI made a special comic in about an hour (whew!) because of an event that took place in the unit. I do hope that --by the time this posts-- people are ready to look back at it and laugh. Right now there's still a bit of heartburn over it.
However, because the comic itself was made with some haste, it is a smaller format, which means I have to do some trimming to get it to fit.
I'm also going to let this post to the main, public site while I am on leave. We'll see if that was such a wise idea.
Once I have the image cleaned up and all the inks finished, I cut off the extra space. I probably could have done this at any time, but for whatever reason this is just my way.
I went through a period where I would go over stock images with PhotoShop layers because I have always struggled with human proportions. Unfortunately, it meant i ended up essentially tracing, which is not a good way to build skill. I have long since gone back to looking at photo references while drawing my pencil sketches, which I like much better.
I feel like I get the proportions better while not sacrificing my style. None of the PhotoShop layer traces looked like my work, for obvious reasons.
Well, that's it before the dialogue. Off we go!
