And this is exactly why I back-up my work so much these days, lol! Had waaaaay too many close calls on losing work!
Thankfully I had saved it on my SD card so could just pull it off of there...phew! It was such good emotional stuff to, hehe! :D

2024-12-02 15:38:11 +0000 UTCI lost about 8 months of writing when I updated an iPad update. It locked my iPad and I couldnβt get back in. I backed it up first but the app I was using at the time only backed up locally and didnβt save it onlineβ¦.

2024-12-02 15:11:09 +0000 UTCI was working on a simple spreadsheet just now and the WiFi was being tricky - had to redo several boxes as the connection went in and out and it drove me crazy. Can't even imagine how I'd react losing actual written work I care about. Thank you, Google Docs, for your frequent auto saving feature.
