Update 1.7 Announcement.

Well, Patreon has added a free subscribers feature. Looks like it's evolving faster than me, huh. Okay, let's adapt - let the announcements of updates be open to everyone, just like the public versions of the updates themselves. I've also unlocked comments for free followers on content they can see. Everything else, for now, remains for paid patrons.

So, next update. What can I tell you without critical spoilers... However, if you want to know nothing at all about the upcoming events - don't read the 5 points below and go straight to "Other stuff" right after them.

Non-critical spoiler warning!

1. Exploration. As in the last episode, you will have freedom of movement at the beginning of the next episode. Or maybe until the end of it, but I haven't decided on that yet. The island where Selene finds herself is small, but you'll be able to get out (or rather swim out) of it. However, the terrain around it is... quite specific. Don't expect easy ways.

2. Survival. No gear. No supplies. Improvise! Selene has been separated from the troupe and Meralion (if he survived) won't be much help. He still has... something sticking out of his leg. Ew!

3. Little bastards. Let's just say that the situation is conceptually similar to a scene from the classic, "Quest for Fire" (1981), the one where three Neanderthals are stuck up a tree with a couple of hungry saber-toothed kitties waiting for them down there. Yep, the little bastards are still waiting for their runaway dessert, which is so insidiously hiding from them behind that nasty *hiss-hiss* w-water!

4. Lewd scenes.There will most likely be one, universal (i.e. not tied to the Iolanta or Cadonis arcs). And it will be with a different person than you're probably expecting ;) Needless to say, the situation isn't exactly shagging-friendly, but who knows if I'll be visited by a lecherous muse with idea of an additional scene... But for now, the plan is to have only one sex scene. And it's gonna be hot. Well, at least I hope so.

5. Meralion. Obviously, the situation would be different depending on whether he survived or not. But even if he survived, his misadventures were still not over. The price for saving Selene's life, will be quite... high for him. Poor fella. I hope you'll cheer him up in the future when all this is over. Right?

Other stuff.

Timeline. I think about two months, at the earliest. It will be clearer when I finish the first part of the update. Right now I'm busy with maps. There will be quite a lot of them, about 30, no less. Plus more portraits. Mind you, I'm such a stubborn luddite who denies all this newfangled AI when it comes to any creative tasks. So working on my modest art takes a lot of time for me. But... This is the way. Meatbags will show these soulless machines how it should be done!
