This is an announcement for subscribers who are subscribing via the Apple iOS App Store or Google Play Store through the Patreon application.
I wanted to let you know that due to recent changes, you might be paying extra in Apple/Google fees on top of the $5 tier fee for Patreon. I haven't changed my tier prices in the last two years, and it has always been $5 per month. However, some of you may have noticed that your monthly prices have changed in recent months. This is due to the Apple/Google app store tax, which is being added on top of the $5 tier price.
I suggest that all of you who are subscribing through these app stores use a web browser to subscribe next time to avoid the extra $1-2 charge.
