In The Studio: Kevin AND Juliet

Welcome back to a new installment of In the Studio. It used to be a weekly column letting you know who was in the studio being painted during any given week, but due to the pandemic it's been hard to do...well...just about anything!

I'll be honest with you, it's been a rough on Best and I as well. We've watched his job vanish due to COVID-19, went in circles on unemployment, and have had to get doctors to sign off on things. I've also had my hours impacted at my second job. It's been a weird year for everyone, right?

It's not all bad, I assure you. Best and I have grown much closer over the last few months. Even with our struggles in life, we manage to care about each other so much. It's rare when both parties are just trying to make their partner's life a little easier and saner. But we do. And I'm really thankful to have someone like that in my life.

We could all use some creative happiness right now. Moments like this are nice:

You may notice in the picture Kevin Cummings and Juliet Walter! They will be in the studio this week. And for the first time ever, they are separate sessions! Oh they've offered before, but I've always loved how they work as a couple. Their natural chemistry is a beautiful sight to behold. One of their first projects was Contact and it turned into one of my favorites from the series.

Juliet will become the MOON.

Kevin will transform into the Two of Pentacles!
