World Debut: Ten of Cups!

Hello friends! I've just finished editing "Ten of Cups". I've decided I'll include a Rider-Waite deck example with each Tarot post, but please know that I will be liberally interpreting each one. For this painting, you see an entire family unit, with a rainbow of sorts overheard. Isn't this picturesque?

Although this card is pretty memorable, I decided early on I didn't want any kids in the deck. Nobody under the age of 18 is allowed in my studio anyway. So now that we have the kids out of the way, what's next? Do I photoshop a rainbow of cups over their head?

That seemed too simple. So I filled a table with cups (ten), flowers, and trinkets! Welcoming you to a delightful party (like their wonderful wedding I attended recently). Yes, that seems much better!

Jeremy and Mar have a polyamorous relationship, and although they do have kids, I wanted the focus to be on their love. How they make people feel good around them. The playfulness, and of course, that eyebrow game that Jeremy has.

Incidentally, I've actually worked with Mar before. You might remember her, but if not, this is a good refresher!

Quite a transformation, isn't it?
