The Blood Elf Returns!
Added 2023-05-31 04:01:17 +0000 UTCMany moons ago, I worked with my good friend Dylan on a "Blood Elf" inspired body painting. We both had a love for World of Warcraft, and arguably the Blood Elves were pretty damn cute (depending on your taste).
Fast forward to today, and we decided to throw a little sequel and do another painting, once again inspired by Blood Elves, but made more feminine.
This is to reflect Dylan's new interest in Drag, especially Dragula which takes Drag on it's head and makes it spooky or dark!
So gaze one last time at our original Blood Elf together...
For the remake, they are rocking their natural hair! I also used a little EVA foam to build the shoulder as practice for Fan Fusion.
It was a lot of fun capturing this playful side of Dylan, don't you think?
Dylan has assisted in the studio before, including taking behind the scenes photos! They're currently dating their partner Trevan, and share a pair of cats and a dog together. The first body painting Dylan and I did together involved their poetry!
No matter the art we've created together, they are always a joy to build universes with. Hope you enjoyed this tour of both the present and the past!
