What is Synesthesia? It's a neurological phenomenon where a stimulus in one sensation or cognitive pathway triggers a response in a second, unrelated pathway. People such as Lady Gaga and Billie Eilish have reported experiencing it, so let's illuminate the topic!

My body painting with Saint reminds me of what someone might experience when listening to music, a dancing cataclysm of color, texture, and deep bass.

I just love the Swordplay here! I know some of you are worried about how sharp it is, and it is, but I've never had anyone cut themselves with it (thankfully). That said, I should always be careful in the studio with sharp objects, so thank you for caring! <3

Synesthesia is a neurological phenomenon where stimulating one of your senses, like hearing, causes experiences in a second, unrelated sense, such as sight. It's a condition that can occur more often in creative individuals and shows variations in brain activity. 

• Synesthesia is observed in a significantly higher percentage of people with autism (around 18.9%) compared to the general population (around 7.2%). 

Very interesting, right? Makes you wonder who else experiences this!

As far as the artwork goes, the shift to blue is really pretty here, and really cools the painting down. Lighting can dramatically alter artwork!
