RPGMaker Rebuild - beta now available!

The first beta build of the TSP rebuild is now live.
Unfortunately it wasn't quite a good ride this month, and due to a massive amount of bugs in the core systems when play testing Malaena's progression line I was held back quite a bit.
To that end only Malaena & Catherine are implemented right now, though their 3some has also been added so you guys can enjoy some fresh new content!
Now that everything is (mostly) ironed out, by the next build we should have all the old content in place along with some new content (Mia and Shelly next level progressions anyone? ;) ).
However I need your help identifying any issues that crop up, so please report any issues you find here or on the discord!
Finally big congrats to Witchking as he (is / will be) a father! Obviously he will be taking some time out to spend it with his family, which may cause art production to slow down for some time. That said I think we have a bit of backlog of art already in place which shouldn't impact you guys getting new content when builds are released!

just burned through the build quick and threw together some thoughts: Some of the sprites are so much cleaner/high-res now, and it's probably my favorite new thing. The actual CG/BG art still has the odd color compression happening though. Is that something that'll get resolved at some point? Another thing I love is RPGmaker's save system being far less buggy than the old Solarion build. No problems at all holding multiple saves and loading them at will. Also, having all 6 girls visible at once on screen is a really cool addition to this build. More sprites at once reminds you how big the crew really is. As for glitches (you probably already know about a few of these): - face boxes don't match up with the lighting properly sometimes - kali duplicated herself while I was going through her dialog options (but disappeared just fine after the interaction) - malaena got stuck on screen after an interaction in the rec room and I had to load an old save to get rid of her - I was blazing through the text boxes since I've read them all like 20 times at this point, but I still noticed some weird stuff like some characters not displaying properly or my character name not displaying sometimes (aside from some typos here and there) and for quality of life suggestions: - an option to hide the textbox (like right click, middle mouse button, or H on the keyboard) - shuma probably shouldn't be on the TV until she's actually on board the ship just to avoid spoilers for new players. Same with the art on the Misc category - there's lots of CG that's not viewable on the TV (but the sheer amount of saves you can have sort of makes up for it) - clickable things in world should highlight as you hover over them - "Objectives updated" suggests the actual objectives app on the phone was updated, not the player pages. The prompt could maybe read "Catherine objectives updated" if that's where you need to go - the alert icon on the ship map that shows where to go should probably have some line connecting it to the planet rather than just overlaying in the corner of the planet. It made me really confused when the first time I checked the map the alert icon was just stuck on the bottom of the screen because that's where the planet was. Took me a while to realize what was going on lol - some sprites like Furina still look really crusty, so I hope they can get a remaster of sorts soon - the option to make pictures in your phone into the phone wallpaper needs to make a return. I loved that detail also, how is the animation implementation coming along? Just curious what the challenge is there since there are no animations in the current build
