Goblin Camp
Added 2024-09-29 20:06:18 +0000 UTCIf you zoom in, you'll see a few things about the way I work, which I'll hopefully be exploring in some video tutorials once I've worked out how to do them properly.
I have a lot of folders (on the left) with all the different projects I'm working on, past and present. Sub-folders help me organise settings, poses, characters and temporary assets like single figures or props that I want to preserve for continuity. Notice the 33 and 75% poly replicas of the camp buildings, so that I can use it as a background without slowing the render down: The decimator plugin is your friend for that.
You'll see this setting in the next few months or so, once I've finalised the post-work and the story sequencing for a new photo-story that tells of the epic battle, as a brave band of Wood Elves fight to purge a Goblin logging camp from the outskirts of their sacred forest.
There will be a lot of arrows, no small amount of rusty swords and underhanded Goblin shenanigans- oh, and there'll be a troll.
