The alien biology appears to have passed some inflection point. Previously dormant genes are activating in ways we can’t predict or understand. We’re seeing new features appear that weren’t present on the initial specimen, ones that seem oriented toward reproduction.
The Director’s behavior is erratic and aggressive, though she seems to retain full control of her faculties. She seems to be guided by new instincts, and keeps talking about “gathering more genetic material” to “perfect” her form. She’s pushing the team to their breaking point. Her mad ambition has driven us well beyond the realm of ethical practice. I can only pray that the horrors we’re orchestrating are exonerated by the results.

2023-01-28 23:08:12 +0000 UTCPlayed around with the head plates a bit, but I liked how the human head looked more. It preserves more of her personality. As for the ovipositor, hey her changes aren’t done yet.

I might have expected a big, thick ovipositor (because I am incorrigible); also perhaps a stretching of her skull towards the distinctive xenomorph length to contain the knowledge and control of her new anatomy... Or maybe even something wider than that, in the style of an alien queen's head 🤔 In any event though, she looks fantastic, and it's great to see her retaining some kind of thought and communications processing (because ego death is my hard "nope"). Maybe after her initial birthing of a small brood she'll calm down enough to see through the breeding haze and talk about what she sees now...
