Heat flooded her cheeks, flaring with embarrassment. An image of the mysterious stranger popped into her mind, who was probably watching her, grinning even wider, reveling in this ridiculous sight.
Realizing the absurdity of the situation, Suzanne stood up calmly, brushing off her clothes, and looked back to see the stranger's reaction. But contrary to expectations, the mysterious figure was not behind her. Realizing that time was running out and she was already late, Suzanne quickly moved forward along the dark and dirty corridor, now carefully looking under her feet. Having reached the massive door, the girl extended her hand and, straining her muscles, opened the heavy, creaking door.
