The Macintosh (2021)
Added 2025-10-09 02:58:30 +0000 UTCThis all started with Ron McAdams of Ron's Computer Videos sending me an e-mail in February 2021 asking me to participate in a new concept called "MARCHintosh". After just releasing the 8100 video at the end of February, I had to scramble to pull together this video in a month (but that's half the fun of Marchintosh). I got it done just under the wire, on March 27th.
For this first MARCHintosh, the event creators made a follow-up video where they picked their favourite videos, and I got the top pick from Ron, which shocked me (Academy Awards-style) and gave my channel another good boost. I would later ask Ron to appear in my Marathon video, which turned out great. He says he is waiting to make another appearance if I do a Color Classic video.
The video itself is a very quick look at the original Macintosh, but I tried to be very detailed about the things about the machine that I did look at. Hopefully you learned something you didn't know.
I finished the video by getting Joseph Samuels' very early edition Macintosh working again.
