DSS version 0.8.4 beta is released!

Once the scheduled bug fixes and improvements are completed, I'll focus on adding features. DSS will be released in Early Access once it has sufficient features and minigames, and will be fully fleshed out after adding story content!

Thank you for your continued support. I will also try to provide more frequent updates. Please leave me lots of feedback.

Game suggestion: In a later update (whenever you're able to) could you add different swimsuit variants? Also, are you able to add swimming goggles or scuba masks/snorkel masks? Just a thought I thought would be cool

You mean 7.1? and I agree, it's a shame there's no import custom vrm for 7.1 tho, and I miss Hunt mode

I still don't like how the character spins around; it never did in v.0.71, and I don't think it's a niche opinion. I heard many people complain about it. Can we have complained about? This is tested with default Kotori, and even when restraints are not glitching out like they tend to do, the character spins around like a record!

If there is something to improve, it would be adding a slider + values when adjusting rope and restraints. This would allow for easier adjustments, and if you add a speed adjuster to the slider, you could fine-tune it much easier, say by values of 1, 0.1, 0.01, or 0.001. You have finally made the UI less of a headache, and when applying adjustments, you no longer see the collider settings! Perfect! You noticed how that's advanced user settings and hides it with a tab you can click, allowing you to extend the information across the screen! It's also less bright now, which is more ideal. I would want to see a preset you could use for the default characters, like the rope positions in v.0.71. It's too confusing to fine-tune it now; it's not very user-friendly. You could add a description on how to use it or completely link it somewhere in the main menu, having pictures with text, explaining how to customize restraints and rope positions.

My RTX 4080 Super went from drawing 175W (40%) to drawing 75W (14%), both capped manually to 90 fps in MSI Afterburner. (180 fps makes my GPU max out at 99% and drawing 300-320W in the last version) After playing uncapped (240 fps, 180 Hz (G-Sync)), my GPU is at 39%, drawing only 150W. I don't know what you did, but it's an absolute win for performance tuning!! BIG W! It's putting more work on the Ryzen 7 7800X3D as it should; the CPU is boosting normally and working optimally. 214 fps 1% lows and 146 fps 0.01% lows. All for way, way, way better visuals. Now you can clearly see the facial discoloration! I was quite frankly disappointed with going from Dream Select Studio v0.8.2beta to Dream Select Studio v0.8.3beta2, and I was hesitant to try the new version but this version is clearly a step forward and not a step backwards in development! I love that you can now attach the heavy iron ball to characters, and physics are finally REALLY stable and realistic.

hello, the update works quite well, but it’s true that the mouth remains open and the first person to change we see less than before. And also, please, the convulsion at the end of a suspension should be better. Do a little more movement before death, otherwise continue to make good improvements.

nice update over all, finally fixed the density thing and it's cool, although maybe it's just me, but I find it strange character's arms always fall like they have weights on them when they drown.

Only thing I noticed was when girls suffocate they always end with their mouths open. It would be nice if it varied between open and closed.

There's a previous version bug that persists to this version. If you use Focus Tool on a girl, then back to Selection Tool, then back to the Main Menu, the model's location will spin around uncontrollably.

I like the new update a lot but can you fix imported character's textures losing alpha? Some parts of my characters have white spots that are supposed to be transparent but lose it when I import to the game

This version is incredibly buggy, applying options like handcuffs don't work and wont appear, chest sizer doesn't work, chest convulsions are incredibly broken which makes her glitch through the floor. Just trying to help out

Just an additional piece of feedback but the elasticity of the chain on the chain ball is very strange and causes it to look unrealistic. I think its physics made more sense in the abandoned version of DSS.

Hello! Thank you for the new release! A couple pieces of feedback/bugs: - The arms still get messed up very frequently when assigning a girl to an object. When assigning a girl to the cylinder weight, for example, the arms are stretched and distorted into weird positions. - The bubbles sound effect when girls are drowning is very quiet. - Personal preference but could you add the tape gag back in? I much preferred the tape gag.
