Added 2020-08-15 14:21:52 +0000 UTCHey guys! Sorry if I seem a little spacey I recently lost my Instagram so I’ve been a bit panicky since it’s the main way I promote patreon and make my income. It hasn’t been hacked or anything but I can’t get into it and haven’t been able to for a few days.
I’ve contacted IG and Facebook about it but have yet to hear back and don’t really have much hope that they will. I’ve had issues in the past and never received a response.
Not that you care but here’s the issue JUST incase anyone knows anything or anyone.
-I know my password but when I sign in it sends an authentication code to my phone to sign in.
-the code does not go to my phone I just don’t receive it at all. The last 4 digits of the phone number are correct but it doesn’t show the first 3.
-I’ve tried changing my password, logging in from friends account and using a authentication app, and every time it says “please enter the authentication code sent to you phone”

Am I being overly dramatic? Yes, of course I am. That’s what I do.

If your password to this site is similar or the same, you may want to change it just in case. Yes it is really frustrating when organizations do not respond when people are having issues. That is why people start another acct. Just keep smiling.

2020-08-15 15:46:24 +0000 UTCMaybe your IP Address is blocked or suspected of unusual activity? I’ve read that changing your IP Address through a VPN and then using a private/incognito browser could work. Good luck tho, hope you get your account back soon :(

2020-08-15 14:42:29 +0000 UTCIf they detect unusual activity from your IP address, you will be locked to prevent a possible hacking attempt. You have to leave your account inactive for a few days for it to reset and it determines it is not been hacked.

2020-08-15 14:37:45 +0000 UTCInstagram doesn’t have a direct phone number or email anymore, the only option is try to find the phone number for Facebook and hope they can point you in the right direction— otherwise your only option is click forget password and tap “Need more help” and pray to the internet gods that you’ll find some answers in that section.
