to be honest I have a love hate relationship with this month. It’s always so stressful and busy and cold, but it’s also the month I get to listen to my favourite music and watch my favourite movies! I alway get asked which I like more, Christmas or Halloween, but it’s not a fair question. I love Halloween because I love spooky things and I love the general aesthetic. I also love it cause it not a family holiday and I can be alone if I want to without any guilt.
Now Christmas on the other hand, I love green spaces to the idea of a wreaths and trees, and garland and ivy and all of that shit makes me so happy. What’s even better is that is all inside! I’m also a sucker for holiday food and flavours so that doesn’t hurt either. Christmas music is the biggest love of mine though. That’s what really does it for me. Haloween can have the movies but Christmas has the music.
ANYWAY ITS DECEMBER!!!! HAPPY DECEMBER!!!
Ps: just seeing this picture (from pre Covid) make my skin crawl. I don’t know how I’ll be able to be in crowds ever again.
