Reflecting: a thank you

So obviously the title of this post is a pun, but I genuinely have been doing a bit of reflecting. We just had a big storm here and when you spend 30 hours with no electricity, and you had a hurricane strip you or everything you’ve been excited for, there really isn’t much else to do.

That said, this also isn’t a “boo hoo poor me” post becuase I’ve got power back and my place only suffered minimal damage. There are still friends and family who don’t have power, who have been flooded, and who’s sheds have been crushed by trees. Ive been incredibly lucky and that’s exactly what this post is about.

A ton of bad things just happened and I’m doing ok because of all of you. I can repair my damage brocade of you, I can re stock all the ruined groceries in my fridge because of you, i can lose out on flights and concerts with out stress because of all of you. The wild part is that it’s not even just financial reasons. I can take the day off during a power outage because of you, I can go help my mom and dad fix their fence and replant trees today because of you. I AM SO FUCKING LUCKY (yes, lucky) TO HAVE THIS JOB AND I WANT TO THANK YOU ALL FOR MAKING IT POSSIBLE!!!

Thank you to everyone who has stuck around and watched me shift and grow and slowly become a person with an ounce of confidence, and a belief that what he’s doing is valid. My dad use to say “so when are you getting a real job”, but I bet he’s glad my “fake” job let me help him out 7 days a week….

I also want to say thank you to those of you who popped in for sexy month. As someone who has always had body dysmorphia, doing things like this is hard and it’s nice to see people like it! Hopefully some of you will stick around, but if not, I get it! (Also, if you’re new and in a level that gives you physical rewards, check your inbox. I messaged you all! )

So yeah, thank you all so so fucking much! I love you all and I’ll forever be grateful ❤️
