Photo Book Options!
Added 2022-11-16 18:09:38 +0000 UTCAfter reading all the comments on my post about making a photo book it was clear that the top choices were Nightwing, Iceman, and Gambit!
Some of those (Gambit and Iceman) dont have enough photos for an entire book so I'm curious what the best course of action is. A few options i came up with are:
1) Combine them with a team theme- For example, I could do an x-men book that has Gambit, Iceman, and Cyclops in it.
2) Combine them With themselves- For example, I could put the 3 iceman shoots together in one book
3) Combine them with the sexy- For Example, I could take the Gambit shots and mix them with the Retro Game shoot
4) Dont Combine them- For example, I would focus on Larger shoots first like Venom (about 45 photos)

From an artistic standpoint, if you included the sexier pictures, it would give the book a kind of "narrative" feel. Just because it's a photobook doesn't mean it can't tell a story. I'm not sure which number this corresponds with but from what you've shown, I'd say #4. This way, you could tell all of the "story" of one Costume/Character in one book, including the "sexy" parts.

2022-11-16 20:24:01 +0000 UTCHonestly, i'd be much more likely to buy a larger book compiled with all of your cosplay (awesome and sexy versions) than i would individual themes. Publish 1 Cosplay Book (cosplay and sexy cosplay) and then publish a 2nd book that's just sexy, with no cosplay.
