The Blue Ranger!
Added 2023-04-08 00:51:56 +0000 UTCSo here’s the thing, it’s really fucking weird that I randomly posted that photo yesterday with out any warning that it was coming and with out any caption about why it’s important. The reason this is so weird is because this is LITERALLY my dream costume. If you been on Patreon for while or have been following me at all, you likely know that anytime (and it’s a lot) that I’ve been asked “what’s your dream costume” my answer has always been the blue ranger. It may seem like a simple answer and one that wouldn’t be hard to achieve but I jus r ever had the skills to make the helmet or the lance, and most of the pre made costumes were crap.
Fast forward many years and Hasbo has made a perfect helmet, and perfect lance, a perfect blaster, a perfect morpher, and the online suit quality has sky rocketed. I was basically able to buy my dream costume and have each part also be a piece of art that I can put in my room.
Part of em thinks that might be why I don’t find it to be so special or why I’m not like “oh my god, I did my dream cosplay” but it’s still pretty cool to see myself dressed like one of my biggest idols. I still have some work to do on the suit be for it’s ready for a full photo shoot, but I’m really excited about it!
I just can’t believe I posted that photo yesterday with out any of this previous information. I feel like that must have really come out of the…blue!
