This was something I had been thinking about for a while but kept putting off for various reasons. It didn’t fit into my schedule, the flight was too long, the summers too hot, the price is too high, I’d have to be gone for a long time to make it worth it, blah blah blah.
Going to Australia was something that I had pretty much just written off as a possibility but just recently things all just started falling into place and it just kind of happened. I had no reasons or excuses. The price was good, I had the time off, I had a place to stay, there was going to be a convention, and it’s almost winter there.
It feel incredibly last minute but that usually how I make my decisions! I’ll be in Sydney for super Nova and then in Brisbane for the following week-ish and I’m super excited to do a bunch of silly stuff and show you all!!!
Here is a picture from the last time I was there 14 years ago. I went in the summer and it was so hot I left after 4 days.
