If you took the time to read through my whole patreon then you probably understand why this holiday plays such a significant role in my life. Ive only ever missed one Halloween and it was when I was 11. I dressed up as ninja which was weird for me because I had been a vampire every year since I was 6. I'm not sure why, but for some reason I was just feeling that ninja vibe. Needless to say, I should have stuck with vampire because while I was running around on the playground I tripped on the baggy ninja pants and spent the night in the hospital. As a kid it was ridiculously traumatic because I was eating crackers and all my friend were filling their bags with candy. As an adult, it's one of my favourite stories to tell. And incase you're wondering, yes, I was a vampire again the next year. The reason I'm telling this story is because this will be the second time EVER that I am missing Halloween. Luckily this time it's just due to the flu and not a head injury (small victories)! And it's not going to be a complete wash because I'll be at home giving out candy, and possibly illness, to children for the first time in my life. I'll be in my Spider-Man costume because it's probably the most comfortable costume I own. So like... will you guys comment what you are being or what you are doing/ did for Halloween so I can live through your happiness? 2016-11-01 05:03:30 +0000 UTCI spent my Halloween watching the Walking Dead, making some dehydrated fruit chips and reading "The Death and Life of Superman"; I know total bad ass-- Halloween isn't a thing in Australia, but it's slowly growing in popularity. On a flu related note, fasting for 3days is proven by science to reboot the immune system and speeds up the recovery of viral and influenza infections, alternatively you can try the more enjoyable way of trying to kill the flu, which the bar tender in me will tell you is drink Jägermeister (one or two shots). When ever I feel the flu coming on I have a shot of it and the next day feel 100% again.

2016-11-01 00:23:58 +0000 UTCI'm going to be at home trying to keep my dogs calm. I live two blocks from our downtown district in my small town and tonight is the Halloween block party. I don't have to give away candy because everyone goes to the block party and doesn't trick-or-treat at the nearby houses. My dogs go nuts every year due to the number of people parking nearby and walking in our neighborhood. Festivities start in about 24 minutes and my dogs are already worked up. LOL!
