Some big changes are coming and I wanted to give you all as much notice as I could. Convention season is in full swing which means I really need to buckle down on costumes, content, videos, photo shoots, etc. Because of that, I will no longer be doing love notes.
I really enjoy doing them but they take SO long to write. I do my best to make them all unique and with that comes days and days of writing. Usually about 7-10 days of writing. I need those days back so I can focus on costumes, fitness, and modelling: all things I started this patreon for.
I also just want to give you all an example of my typical month so you understand why I need to do this.
From the 1st-10th I am getting prints printed, labeled, personalized, signed, and mailed.
After that I usually take 2 days off.
Around the 12th I start writing the next months notes (many of which are done for no reason because people drop out before the end of the month and the letters just go in the garbage). I have to do them the month prior because if i did them starting the 1st, the prints would never get mailed on time. The notes take about 10 days as well which puts me at the 22nd.
If I have a con (which is pretty much monthly) that’s another 5 days which would theoretically put me at the 27th.
What this means is I have 3 days a month to work on costumes/do shoots/make videos. Which is why that isn’t happening as much as it should.
On top of that I’m scheduling skypes, working on snap chat, answering messages, posting content, trying to get to the gym, see family and friends, and have a somewhat normal life.
I know, I know, wow poor me, I have to travel and sign prints of myself. Trust me, no one thinks this is more ridiculous than me. I wake up thankful everyday that I get to do this. I am beyond lucky and beyond blessed, and it’s all because of you.
I recognize that this could hold some pretty hefty financial consequences but it not about the money, it’s about creating! Again, like I said, I wanted to put this out there now so that if this is a make or break, you can remove your pledge. If you’ve been following me for a while you probably saw this coming. It’s been a source of anxiety for almost the past year.
I need this, and I’m sorry if that’s the breaking point for you. That said, I understand. The letters were a lot of fun. I love you all regardless.
