We knew that we wanted to make the venom shoot scary and sexy, because thats what i love to do, but what was really important was that it was also interesting. We decided to set it in the bathroom cause that lends itself pretty well to the sexy part and it gives a nice white contrast to what is soon to be dark and gritty.
The Story we wanted to tell with this series was both complex, and simple. It had a lot of meaning in the realm of the character but it as also an important shoot for me as an individual.
It starts with Peter Parker coming home after a particularly rough day of crime fighting. He jumps in the shower to try and relax but while in there all he can do is think about how he's failed to save the city again: Venom got away. After coming getting out of the shower he looks at the mask that would normally make him feel comforted and he questions if it even really worth it, if he REALLY makes a difference. This isn't the first time someone almost died because he couldn't protect them. Would it be the last?
