As the Symbiot gets its taste it has become certain that this will be its next host. It unleashes its tendril and it shoots forward wrapping itself around Peters hand. Not expecting such a struggle it releases two more tendrils pulling Peters hand closer.
Not to be underestimated, Peter rips his hand free of the tendrils which creates a brief sense of security. This false sense of security quickly becomes forgotten as he is washed with the realization that the Symbiot has made contact and its too late. The process has begun.
