Years of Gratitude!

It’s a new year, its a new decade, and I want to start it out with a bit of gratitude. I am so lucky and so thankful to be supported by all of you. This silly hobby I had was slowly transformed into a quasi full time job and I can officially call myself a “PROFESSIONAL INTERNATIONAL COSPLAYER” and that’s so fucking Wild. I remember cosplaying and and never feeling confident enough to even call myself a cosplayer. Now I’m a professional international cosplayer??? I do think it’s important to note that the confidence to call myself a cosplayer came directly from you guys. Even when I had 100,000 people on IG I still didn’t think I was good enough. Which is kinda bull shit cause I fully believe that anyone who wears a costume should be able to call them selves a cosplayer. But I digress. 

That confidence doesn’t come from the fact that I’m getting paid to cosplay, it comes from the support you have all given me in every way. I’ve said this a million times but you all have made me a better person. I’ve become more confident, more outgoing, I’ve learned new skills, I’ve been made to feel like family. When I’m down, you’re there, when I’m up, you’re there, you’re just always there. You have taught me to love my body no matter what it looks like, and you’ve taught me that who I am is ok. I’ve grown for the better and thats because of YOUUUUU. Have I drilled that into your head enough yet? *insert joke about drilling you enough*

That’s my goal for this year. No, not the drilling, the growing. NO NOT GROWING LIKE THAT GOD DAMNIT IM TRYING TO BE SENTIMENTAL!! Jeez. I want to actively take this year to improve myself. No specific goals, but big over arching ones. Be more productive. Be more organized. Be more in the moment. Be more motivational. Be more myself (even if that doesn’t always line up with this over arching goals). 

So listen. Thank you all. Thank you all from the bottom of a very cold dark heart. I love you all so much, and I can’t wait to grow together. Yes, like that. Happy New Years!
