Throwback Thursday!
Added 2020-03-12 15:33:32 +0000 UTCHappy Thursday everyone! Today’s post is a little different but I figured I’d share it anyway. I’ve been going through my old photo books and I came upon this photo that very clearly explains why I have an unhealthy obsession with pizza.
My mom was a single mother so I was basically raised by my grandparents. On top of being a single mother, my mom had me at 19 and her mother had her at 19 (I really dropped the ball by not having a kid at 19). All this to say, my grandparents were ALSO young, and had full time jobs. I think my nan is like 39/40 in this picture? Because of that I was one of those kid who got to go to work at a very young age lol.
I spent YEARS in this pizza shop. My nan made the pizza, my grandfather delivered the pizza, and when he was old enough, my uncle worked the phones and the front desk. Me... I just ate pizza. God, I ate so much pizza. Even as a school aged kid I ate soooo much pizza. Now I can’t stop thinking about pizza. DAMN IT! I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN.
Ok, well I’m going to go make a pizza. Love eachother, love yourself, and the next time you have a pizza think about me!
