Roy Boy!
Added 2024-04-23 00:41:54 +0000 UTCI’m excited to be slipping into my Roy Harper era because young Justice was one of those shows that truly pulled me back into getting invested in superheroes. 2010 I was starting to feel like enjoying superheroes and cartoons, was for children and I would keep that part of myself away from other people. I never felt like I could tell people the types of shows I watched, and I was actively trying NOT to watch them. Young Justice felt different though, there was something about young Justice that made me feel like it was OK to like superhero stuff. It was a more mature show and although I can’t really articulate why, it definitely got me through a weird time in my life. I’ve done Robin, I’ve done wally, I’ve done a superboy, I’ve even done an aquaman protégé. Roy Harper was sure to be next on the list!
