Apologies for the long wait for videos this month, I will lots more on here very soon! The wifi where I’m staying is absolutely HORRIBLE, but I managed to find a good wifi spot and got this uploaded. I have not had good wifi anywhere in Italy so far, the company I’m with for data is terrible, even in England my mobile data is rubbish. I brought my microphones to film videos here but I haven’t found any quiet time, I’m in an apartment with 7 family members (excluding me) and we’re all sharing rooms. I can’t even find the privacy to call my friends without being interrupted my some of my family members. Not to mention a few of the rooms have absolutely no wifi, it only works in the living room, so it’s tricky ;’)

I will make a video talking about my time in Italy probably! Because I will talk and talk and talk ahahaha. Shall I do ear tapping at the same time, any suggestions for the microphone? I have some funny things that happened to mention for sure.

My parents really haven’t wanted to go out at all, I’m a bit sad because I couldn’t find my friend a nice bracelet because they’re all a bit expensive for sterling silver ;( I buy lots of sterling silver jewellery and the pendants here are too pricey. I really love the Florin pendants but can’t seem to find one for under 50 euros, I’m not sure if I’m being delusional or not, in the UK most of the sterling silver jewellery I buy is around £15-£30. I’ve heard they overprice everything at Ponte Vecchio so I wasn’t expecting too much from there to be honest. I was thinking of going into nomination as a last resort, but it just sucks that they have them in England too and I wanted to get something special for my friend. It’s was her birthday recently and sadly I missed it being here, but I have a really good gift idea for her, it’s a bit out of budget but I think it’s so her so I really hope she likes it. (Obviously I will include the gift receipt just incase hahaha!).

Besides that, the tourist traps in Florence are awful, and everywhere. I never experienced this kinda thing in Rome, literally every corner is somewhere trying to rip you off, not to mention it’s pretty rammed here with tourists. Which I suppose is expected because it’s such a beautiful city, but yeah, I’ve been ripped off twice and it really upset me that I stormed a place on google reviews on multiple accounts. ;_; This man took my 20 euros when I was paying for 2 regular lattes and a pizza slice (which everywhere else has costed me only €2.50 for a pizza slice, I saw him tapping on the machine and adding up everything we ordered. I was so stupid I didn’t ask for a receipt, I feel so dumb thinking about this interaction. I’m a really awkward person and bad at confronting people or being stern about things. I was gonna say something to him about the price but he had a mean look on his face and I thought he was gonna shout at me if I asked. Idk it really upset me because that was meant to last me the whole day. I looked so miserable in the store and asked this lady about how much our lattes were, because our charge was seriously expensive, and she went “Umm…” looked around twice, then at the man, and then walked off!!?? We looked so miserable at the table, she actually APOLOGISED, it was very indirect but she knew damn well what happened.

I watched some bloodborne boss videos in a cafe earlier, so when I’m back I’m going to try and defeat the Shadows of Yharnam!! :D I’m excited for that. Not excited for my driving lessons. I should be starting an application to the school I’m planning to go to, I also need to speed run the end of a course that I was studying, and yeah… The search for a part time job will commence!!
