I’m really interested in seeing fantastic four, if any of you have seen it is it any good? I was interested in seeing jurassic world but I’m leaning towards fantastic four.

RANT: I’m having to switch driving instructors, I think he’s bleeding me and my sister for money a bit :( we’re both paying for our lessons and car insurance on the family car ourselves so it’s really expensive and we’re trying to make progress as quick as possible. Our driving instructor just stopped with a plan after the second lesson, I was supposed to do manoeuvres two lessons ago. I asked him about it a lot, and we parked somewhere at the end of the lesson and he rushed to try and show it to me, it obviously didn’t go in mentally, said we’d do it the following lesson. Following lesson rolls around, and we drive for the 2 hours around this estate and nowhere near the test centre. He talked so so so much, I’ve realised I don’t think he liked silence. I have no problem with people who like to talk a lot, but it was really distracting and it was starting to get on my nerves because these lessons cost me SO much money and I can’t afford to be wasting them. He told me we’d do manoeuvres the following lesson and he wanted to build my confidence more. Anyway, just had a lesson and we drove around the same estate AGAIN, and then told me I needed to pay for a new block of 10 hours because I ran out. I paid £400 for what, he was meant to be the best instructor on there!!! I can’t make progress in my family car either because I don’t know how to properly park, I’ve literally resorted to watching YouTube videos. ConquerDriving is teaching me more than this instructor. I’m trying a new instructor next week, she’s meant to be very good apparently. Just finding it frustrating ;( wish I had my license already.

On top of that, I’m in dire need of new figure skates. I cannot get my hands on skates ANYWHERE, there’s one place in London that has stock of the skates I need, but they’ve uncharged them £180 more, so no wonder they have stock, it’s a bloody rip off. I ordered some online recently for an alright price, and I got a call from a lady asking me if I’m alright to be on the waiting list, and they’re expecting the skates late August. It’s frustrating because I need to try the skates on because my current skates feel a bit small, but the stock is so little I’m not even able to find any to try on. I’m biting the bullet and ordered one size up of my current skates, I hope and PRAY they fit. My current skates are dead, I’m skating in dead bits of plastic. The life span of figure skates is 1.5 years, I’ve had mine for almost 5 years now. I put off replacing them because I didn’t have the funds, but also I wasn’t sure I was going to return to figure skating. Now that I’ve been back for 6 months, I’ve worn out my skates awfully. I’m also attempting jumps that I didn’t even attempt before, I’m trying to get double axel, triple toeloop and triple flip (flip is different in figure skating ahaha, it’s not a back or front flip). Anyway, the padding is so gone that I’ve started to get these burns on my ankle, I’m not sure what they are, but my skin is wearing away and it’s BURNINGGG. Because my skates feel loose without padding, I’m tying them tighter to get the same level of control, but the pressure is now going straight to my ankles and tendons, and I also feel like I’m trying to stabilise myself through my ankles so my lower legs are always sore after practice. I made myself a DIY ankle support last session and wrapped up both of my ankles, and I wore through it in the session and was in agony. My coach is Russian and doesn’t take me seriously when I say I’m in pain. Anyway, now I’ve got these bad burn/scab things and I have absolutely no idea how to wrap them for my next skate, bandage? I managed to get my hands on one ankle support. I won’t be able to get blister plasters for my next skate but I think they’d help. Another annoying thing, if the new skates fit me, I have to sell my blades and buy new ones ;_; because bigger skates require a different size blade. AHGHHH, annoying.

Anyway, those are some of my main current dilemmas lol, I will scavenge the cupboards in my house tomorrow and hopefully find something for my ankles.
