Become Lion

 Hello Patreon Family,

Here is the next animal in the series I've decided to do of guided relaxation tracks featuring animal transformations. When coming up with the list of animals to poll I tend to think back to the species/families typically depicted in furry art. I had a feeling "lion" would come after wolf, especially if I didn't water it down with options for other big cats like tigers, cheetahs, and mountain lions.

I had a bit of a hard time writing this track. Quite frankly with everything going on in the USA right now it difficult to get in the proper mindset to do relaxing guided imagery tracks. Plus, I also had a minor back injury that laid me up in bed for a week.

But once I had this track written out I had no problem recording and editing it. It turned out pretty nice and I found myself leaning heavy on confusion techniques.

I think for the future ones in the series I'm going to stick to the combination of "safe/special place" and "animal transformation" since that seems to work well.

This one uses many inferential Eriksonian techniques, so it should work well on people who read into things too much.

"Thunderbird" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License provides an august background.

This track should fill out your mane and fill your soul with confidence.

You're welcome! And it's okay. I know that life happens (I have plenty of anxious/down periods of my own), so far be it from me to expect you to churn out tracks, etc. like clockwork. But if you know you'll be inactive here for a while, and you're able to tell us, how about you leave a short note so that none of us will be unduly worried about you? Anyway, be well! *hugs*

Thanks for the kind words! I made sure to run this campaign as "per creation" so I have some hard deadlines. Even if I'm not actively writing scripts or recording, I'm planning the recordings in my head. I'm really sorry for not posting anything, and I'm trying to set up a better routine for myself.

You're gifted with an evocative way with words. I was mesmerized by how you brought the scenery to life, and by how you made the experience of being a lion so beautiful and relaxing. Kudos to you for managing to make this track despite all the distractions in the news these days, and I hope you've totally recuperated from your back injury. I was a mite concerned about you for not posting anything between August 2 and now.
