Our Life 2: Sprite Style Test 2
Added 2020-04-17 20:01:00 +0000 UTCAs promised, we've done more than one style test for Our Life 2! This one has a very different feel from the previous test. I'd say both are really pretty. It'll certainly be hard to choose a single look once the game is in full production.

I don't know why but in this style Cove gives me the feeling of being a guy who has a lot of money but super friendly with everyone who wouldn't mind helping others just to see them happy, it gives me that feeling 🤔, and he doesn't mind helping sick people, what an imagination I have😂, he is so beautiful! 🥺

2020-04-20 23:18:34 +0000 UTCI kind of think his face looks a little weird here, tbh. I think the shading makes him pops better against the background though. But then again, style 1's shading also "matches" the background better so it looks like cove is part of the "painting". So it depends on how you want it to look. I also think style 1 made Cove a little to feminine, so for me it's a draw for both. I think I agree with the other user that said if the new game will be centered more around a younger sage, style 1 then, but style 2 for a game with more older parts.

2020-04-17 22:40:44 +0000 UTCBoth are beautiful but I prefer the first. I agree with the other person, I think that it sort of ultimately just depends on the age you guys choose. In my opinion the first one looks lighthearted, fun and youthful whereas the second one looks like a game I would expect to have themes on the "mature" side and immersive if that makes sense. Both have good qualities which just makes it difficult to choose, but it would probably depend on what the overall vibe of the game would be like 😊

2020-04-17 22:38:12 +0000 UTChmmm. I think I'd choose this one, but in a way, my opinion is based on the age range yall end up on. The first one felt very soft, waifish, and light. Kinda feyish and whimsical. This one feels more "Friends"-esque, like I'm about to see Cove at a contemporary cafe or bar, hanging out with other 20-somethings or listening to a crime podcast with a dark coffee or apple cider in hand. Both are great, but this one has a warmth, maturity, and body weight I personally like :)
