Patreon Reward Tier Tweaks!

Hey everyone!

We've got a really important update today. To better match what's coming in the future, we've switched around some of the rewards on the first three tiers. Please be sure to check this over so you can make sure you're still happy with what's available at your level. 

This will only really apply in full starting next month, since everyone has already paid for the old rewards for May.

So, here's the new versions of the first three rewards tiers.

Tier 1, $1:

▸Download the Our Life PAX East Demo! It features extra content not available in the public demo.
▸Join in our Patreon-only Discord with daily posts on what we're up to.   
▸Access to multiple Patreon posts each week. See unfinished art, concept work, unused pieces, and alternate versions of our games' assets.

Tier 2, $5: 

▸Access to the current Floret Bond Beta Build.
▸View the 18+ posts on Patreon and the mature sections of the Discord channel. 
(The 18+ content of our games can be sexual or violent. The two types are always posted separately and clearly marked so you can avoid one kind or both, if you prefer)

Tier 3, $10:  
▸Access to the current Our Life Beta Build. 
▸The right to vote in Patreon-only polls that will help shape our projects.
▸A key for each newly released game. (You must still be a Patron during the month the game comes out.)  
▸All previous rewards.


And this is the change log for what's different between the current versions and the prior versions.
▸ Discord perks are now available at the $1 tier, originally you had to be at the $5 tier
▸ 18+ content is now unlockable at the $5 tier,  originally you had to be at the $10 tier
▸ Voting in special Patreon-only polls was moved up to the $10  tier, originally you only needed to be at the $5 tier

So, if you were at the $1 tier and were suddenly added to a random new Discord group, that's why. Sorry for the surprise, haha.

We made these changes for a couple reasons. One is that the goal to create an adult-aged bonus event is almost certainly gonna be met. Unlocking that event is going to be set at the $5 tier, so it'd only make sense to bring the rest of the 18+ content to that level. 

Also, because most of our projects are in the later stages, polls to add/change things are going to be much less common than they were when the tiers were originally set. Since they're more of a rare and special thing, we wanted to make it a higher set reward. 

Lastly, we figured we'd move the Discord tier down to $1 in order to make it easier to keep up with people. It's been amazing how many new players have joined over the past couple months. And we know having to go through Patreon just for us is much less convenient for some than Discord is for many people. Because of that, we're making it more accessible.

And that's the breakdown! Please feel free to let us know what you think. We'll do our best to keep the Patreon rewards as effective and fitting as possible.
