Our Life: Beta Build 0.76! (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android)
Added 2020-08-04 16:32:01 +0000 UTCHappy August everyone! We've got the first beta build of the month. It's now officially time to say goodbye to Step 2 Cove (at least until the Derek DLC goes into production). I hope you had a really nice summer with him ❤
Android Download (the file says demo, but it's the beta. I can't seem to figure how to to get the build name to change, haha)
We'd also be happy to do more live chats in the discords to discuss current and future content. In July there were so many updates it was a bit hard to have a time to do the special chats, but if people still want those we can plan to set one perhaps this upcoming weekend. Let us know what you think.
New Content:
- 279,000 words in total
- The final Step 2 scenes were added
- Some edits were made to the end of Soiree to better explain things
- A new CG is in there
- Errors were fixed from before
Known Errors:
- Saves from the old beta or the public demo will have errors if used with the new version. Please start a brand new file!
- New events don't have voice acting for most characters yet
- The appearance part of Cove Creator has some small issues with displaying the sprite layers. To try avoiding problems for now, cycle through all the options to get the one you want even if the one you prefer is by default displayed on the Cove Creator sprite.
- If you run into any kind of error report screen, hitting the Ignore option once or twice will generally let the game continue past that point.

2020-08-13 23:40:01 +0000 UTCBeen a hot second since I commented but I am commenting now! YAY! Really really love the last couple updates! So excited we'll be moving slowly into Step 3 territory now! Also, very happy about all the most recent opportunities for so great roleplaying in some of the latter Step 2 Events, so looking forward to that in 3 as well. I have a couple very characterized MCs now because of it and it's cause your game is just so easy to build more personalized characters, relationships and stories in. Amazing, as always!
